Setting up MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication with Microsoft Authenticator

In a browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge), go to: https://aka.ms/mfasetup.
- If you are logged in with your work account, proceed to step 2.
- If not, then log in with your init account.
You should new be presented with the following screen:
If you haven’t already, download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the app-store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
Make sure you use ‘Authentication app’ as the desired method:
- If you don’t have access to the mobile app, choose instead ‘Phone’, Select 'Denmark (+45)' and enter your phone number.
- Click next, and you will be presented with the following screen:
- Click next.
- A QR code will now appear. Refrain from clicking next

Open the Authenticator App,
- login and Tap on the 'Add account' plus-sign and select ‘Work or school account'.
- Choose 'Scan QR code'.

Scan the displayed QR code from the browser using the app.
- OBS: If an error occurred, it may be due to the browser window with the QR code has been up for too long. An easy fix is to shutdown the browser, and re-open the link in step-1 and continue down to step 6 again.
- The following message will appear on the browser, and then approve in the app on your phone.
When approved, the following message should appear:
- Tap ‘Next’ and the following message should appear:
Tap ‘Done’ and the setup is now complete.
You should now on the app see you work account linked on the frontpage.
